Groove to the Beat of Funk and Soul
Casanova and Rosetta bring the rhythm, the groove, and the fire with the music that defined generations. From the iconic beats of James Brown to the smooth soul of Aretha Franklin, we keep the dance floor packed and your guests smiling.
The Songs of Legends
Casanova pays homage to the greatest artists in funk and soul, bringing their iconic sounds to life at your event. Imagine the unstoppable groove of James Brown, whose explosive hits like “Sex Machine” set the stage for funk’s powerful rhythms. Picture Parliament’s infectious “Give Up the Funk (Tear the Roof Off the Sucker)” shaking the room, or the smooth romance of Barry White with timeless classics like “I’m Gonna Love You Just a Little More Baby.” The irresistible bassline of Kool & the Gang’s “Hollywood Swinging” and the electrifying energy of Wild Cherry’s “Play That Funky Music” keep the dance floor moving, with Casanova’s soulful energy leading the way.
Adding to this iconic mix, the influence of Reuben Wilson’s The Cisco Kid—a soul-jazz masterpiece—introduces a groove-heavy style blending funk, jazz, and soul, much like the legends Casanova channels. Wilson’s Hammond B3 organ, infused with a deep groove reminiscent of 70s funk, fits perfectly within this sonic landscape, complementing the dynamic range of sounds from funk’s evolution.
